My Journey to FJMU

Assalam-o-alaikum
My name is Zeenat fatima first year mbbs student at fatima jinnah medical university
I got 1059/1100 marks in matric and 1090/1100 in fsc and 175/210 in NMDCAT

So, here i am writing about how i aced my nmdcat..really i dont even know what is mdcat in my first year and second year bss itna ky mbbs ky liye aik test hota hai aur bht mushkil hota hai..at the end of our second year there was a seminar of steps academy in our college…at that time i got some information about mdcat..
after my fsc exams…we had a very little time for the mdcat prepration due to all that corona pandemic hardly 1 month and 15 days..meri sab dostein physical session ky liye chali gyen lekin mn ny online session lia tha(due to some personal issues)..online session mn start ky kuch days mn mujhy bht ziada difficulties ko face krna pra…kabhi mery net ky issues kabhi steps ky sir ky net ky issues..aur dosri trf meri dostein jo physical ly rhin thin unsy kabhi text kr ky poochti to wo sab kehtin hmari bht achi tiyari ho rhi..and you guys know I cried thousand times in that days..they all have academy books and tests in hard form and i have nothing at that time..just demotivated me and my text books..

Start mn online session mujhy kuch bh samjh nh aa rha tha..but it took atleast two weeks..mjhy kuch cheezein samjh ana start hoin..and i was left with just one month…we had online tests of acadmey the day after the lecture classes…and i am truly speaking physics mn mery srf 3 or 4 marks aty thy out of 30 and i just cried and cried in that days after experiencing failures..but then after  watching some motivational videos and my chemistry’s sir..his name was sir kashif he was blessing in disguise for me at that time..he motivated me again and again and he assured me that i can do it..and my mother who gave me a huge motivation ky meri beti kr skti hai…at that time i was left with hardly 25 days I started studying with this believe  that mera hojaye ga…

I gave my day and night to physics..mn ny youtube sy lecture liye step ky online recorded  lecture liye notes bnaye in that week mn ny 3 register bhar diye srf physics ky liye after that when i gave my academy online test i got 26 out of 30 marks…this motivated me alotttt…for biology i studied my punjab textbook…federal textbook and a little bit form kpk… for chemistry i got a very talented teacher her name was mam irum in my college time..she was blessing for me..unhon ny itniachi parhaye thi ky mdcat ky time ziada.mushkil nh lgi i just did it from my punjab board textbook…for english i did slides of sir…in short i studied alotttt in that two to three weeks (itna zindagi mn kabhi nh parha)
Our nmdact tests started from 30th august and pmc test system was very bad most of students were getting very low marks this was another problem for us at that time..

Test Day Experience

My test was on 17 september morning…i was sitting in exam hall with my parents duayen motivation from my father..our test was online and we entered in exam hall at 7 am(aik ghanta pehly)aur us time bss yehi lgta tha ky saara kuch bhool gya hai..test start hoa my test was a very confusing like options repeat ho rhy thy but krna to tha hi….our result was out at pmc website at 12:30 pm and after watching my result i was literally shocked i got 155 marks at that time..because i was assured that mery ziada sy ziada 20 mcq wrong hongy..
at that time i felt that mujhy 5 saal parhny ka kuch faida nh mila..i just cried in front of my allah for justice…after 2 to 3 weeks pmc had annouced that result is again uploaded at website and my marks got increased to 175..
and my merit was 90.6273..in provisional list i was at rank 2348..according to my prefrence i got admission in quaid e azam medical college..after first upgradation list i was upgraded to rmu…then after special exams and final upgradation list….to my good luck I was upgraded to fjmu
this was all about my journey to fjmu..

Concluding Words

My advice for all of u is never ever rely on academy books for mdcat prepration they are good but always always stick to your text books they should be your first priority..and pray five times a day kunky allah ki madad ky siwa hum kuxh bh nh hein
